Bosworth Field is a hand-made, mould ripened artisan cheese with a semi-soft texture from Leicestershire. Matured for 4 months, this cheese has a crumbly texture towards the centre and gets softer towards the grey mould, meaning every bite is distinctive.
The name, as many of you will guess, derives from the Battle of Bosworth Field, the final battle in the War of the Roses, thought to have occurred in Upton, where the cheese is made. While the Lancastrians may have won the war, us Yorkists still love this cheese, especially melted on toast, and we’re sure you will too!
Made using raw milk
Cut cheese usually remains good for 4 weeks.
