Produced from beloved shorthorn cows at Old Botton near Whitby, Dale End Cheddar is hand produced at the Botton Village Creamery, part of the Camphill Village Trust, a national charity dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health problems and complex needs.
A traditional cloth bound cheddar, Dale End uses organic milk and is matured for a minimum of 6 months, giving it a tangy, citrus taste.
Cut cheese usually remains good for 4 weeks.
