Produced from beloved shorthorn cows at Old Botton near Whitby, Moorland Tomme is hand produced at the Botton Village Creamery, part of the Camphill Village Trust, a national charity dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health problems and complex needs.
A wash rind cheese, left to mature on wooden shelves for at least a year, Moorland Tomme has a strong, earthy taste, perfect for cooking.
Cut cheese usually remains good for 4 weeks.
