As our climate changes, so is our agricultural landscape. While not so long ago, it was thought impossible to grow and produce wine in the north of England due to our colder climate, Yorkshire vineyards are now thriving, with 16 commercial vineyards across the county.
Known for their acidity and freshness, Yorkshire wines are fast developing an award-winning reputation for their crisp, refreshing flavour. We work closely with local, family-run vineyards, personally selecting the varieties we stock to ensure the best possible array for our customers.
Microbreweries have seen a boom in popularity in recent years, and it shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon! Prioritizing quality over quantity, these artisan creations produce a distinct and unique flavour, inspired by the beauty of the Yorkshire landscape.
As well as our beers and ales, we also stock a delicious range of fruit ciders from Orchards of Husthwaite, located less than 2 miles from our farm. The loamy soil enables a variety of fruit like apricots to grow outdoor much further north than usual, resulting in unique, crisp ciders.
